All summer programs are now open for registration. This year, we are offering three week-long camps (Nature, Survival, and Olympics), golf, gymnastics/tumbling, karate, and swim lessons. Swim lessons are being offered in five different sessions. Monday/Wednesday morning (two sessions), Tuesday/Thursday morning (two sessions), and Saturday morning (one session).

 

NATURE CAMP
Spend the week learning, discovering and exploring nature! Each day will cover a different habitat which includes woods, creeks, and ponds. Dress to get dirty while exploring and crafting. Bring a bagged lunch and swim gear.
Where: The Bellevue Community Center
When: July 2–6 (no class July 4) • 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
Who: Ages 6–12 years

SURVIVAL CAMP
Spend a week with a local Boy Scouts Troop learning new ideas and skills about camping. Each day will cover a variety of activities that will help you better enjoy your child’s camping experience in a safe environment. Dress to get dirty while exploring and testing your survival skills. Bring a bagged lunch and swim gear.

FIT & FUN OLYMPICS CAMP
Before thinking about the school year starting back up again, let’s finish the summer out with a Fantastic Fun Olympics! Test your skills in a fun competition with a variety of games and activities. Games will consist of physical, artistic, speed, and brain teasers! Dress to get dirty while participating in the games! Please bring a bagged lunch and swim gear.

GYMNASTICS
Open to boys and girls ages 3 and older. Classes meet for five weeks on Thursdays. Class size is limited, so please register early. Classes meet in three groups:
Pre-School (ages 3–5): 4:30–5:15 p.m.
6+ Beg./Adv.: 5:30–6:15 p.m.
9+ Beg./Adv.: 6:15–7 p.m.
Session 6 — June 6–July 5
Session 7 — July 19–August 16
Members: $16.50
Non-members: $29

 

SWIM LESSONS
All lessons are held at our Mil’Lympic Pool. Three weeks, six classes, meet either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. Swim lessons are broken up into three classes:
Pre-School (ages 6-mo.–5 years): 11:30 a.m.–12 p.m. and must have an adult in the water with them.
Level 1 & 2:
10:45–11:25 a.m.
Level 3–6:
10–10:40 a.m.
All sessions have a make-up date scheduled for one week after the session ends. Cost is $15 per session.
Session 1: June 11–27 (Monday/Wednesday) or June 12–28 (Tuesday/Thursday)
Session 2: July 16–August 1 (Monday/Wednesday) or July 17–August 2 (Tuesday/Thursday)
 

 

SATURDAY SWIM LESSONS
Saturday swim lessons will be held at the Mil’Lympic Pool and only meet once a week. Six weeks, six classes. Saturday swim lessons will be broken up into two classes:
Pre-School (ages 6-mos.–5 years): 11:30 a.m.–12 p.m. and must have an adult in the water with them.
Level 1–3: 12:15–12:55 p.m.
Saturday swim lessons are offered June 23–August 4.
Cost is $15.

 

GOLF
This introduction to golf will consist of four sessions at Twin Lakes Golf Course. The class is designed for youths who have little or no knowledge of the game. Emphasis will be placed on fundamentals including swing basics and the short game. Classes held Tuesdays, June 5, 12, 19 and 26. Bring water, sunscreen, hat/visor. Ages 5–8 meet 1–2 p.m. Ages 9–12 meet 2–3 p.m. Cost is $25.

 

TUMBLING
Open to boys and girls, ages 5 and older. Classes meet Tuesdays and follow the Gymnastics schedule. Class size is limited, please register early. Beginner group meets at 5:15 p.m. Advanced group meets at 6 p.m. All sessions are five weeks. Class fee: $35 per session.



TODDLER TUMBLE
Open to boys and girls, ages 1–3. Parent participation is required. Classes meet on Saturdays at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. Following the Gymnastics session dates. Class size is limited, please register early. All sessions are five weeks.
Members: $16.50
Non-members: $29

 

J.C. RYUKYU KEMPO KARATE
Students, age 7 and older, will learn the fundamentals of martial arts including blocking, and striking techniques, abduction prevention, training exercises, traditional Kata, sparring, board breaking, joint locks, karate history and more. Classes meet on Monday and/or Wednesday at the Bellevue Community Center.

Youth Class meets 5–6 p.m.      Adult class 6–7:30 p.m.
Monthly rates: one day per week $25,     two days a week $40.
