SPRING BASEBALL CONDITIONING AND TRAINING 2018

Bellevue High School baseball coaching staff and players will provide instruction and lead conditioning to help prepare your young player for the upcoming baseball season. Get professional instruction before bad habits develop. Learn proper mechanics of pitching to build the foundation for proper infield and outfield throwing. This program is held at the Bellevue Varsity Baseball field at Robert Peters Park on Sunday, March 25,  Saturday, March 31, and Saturday, April 7. Ages 6–9 meet 1–3 p.m.. Ages 10–14 meet 3–5 pm. SPRING VOLLEYBALL CONDITIONING AND TRAINING 2018

This program is for players who want to learn more and improve volleyball skills. Fast-paced program will consist of passing, setting, serving, and spiking drills as well as proper warm-up, stretching, and conditioning. Groups will be formed based on grade and skill level. Open to girls in grades 4–6 and 7–9. Class held on Tuesdays, Feb. 27–March 27 from 7–8:30 p.m. Members: $15, Non-Members $25. Register in person at the Bellevue Community Center or online. INDOOR SOCCER CAMP 2018

Instructor Benjamin Guerra, head of the Willard Soccer Club and Willard HS soccer coach, will help prepare your child for organized sports, teach motor skills, and soccer skills that will help build confidence while having fun. This is a great opportunity for parents and child to spend quality time together working with an accomplished instructor and quality staff. This three week program is held on Thursdays, March 1, 8, 15, 22.

ATOM LEAGUE 2018

This instructional (three-strike) baseball program is for kids five years-old. Kids will use a tee and/or coach pitch with bases set at 50 ft. All participants will be placed on a team. Parents, please let us know if you are interested in coaching so we can include you in pre-season meetings. Games played behind the Bellevue Community Center building on Monday and Wednesday evenings starting Monday, April 23.

MINOR LEAGUE 2018

All participants ages 6–7 will be placed on a team. Teams based on player evaluations. Junior Juggs pitching machine with parent coaches and pre-season practices. Bases 60 ft. Games held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings on the Bellevue Community Center Field #1 (next to the playground). Player fee is $35 which includes a uniform. Register in person at the Bellevue Community Center or online. Avoid the $5 late fee, register by March 20. YOUTH TRACK AND FIELD 2018

The track and field program will give young athletes, ages 6–14, the basic skills needed to compete in track and field events. We will teach the importance of stretching and warm up techniques, running, and jumping. Our coaching staff will encourage motivation and sportsmanship. The program is held Tuesdays and/or Fridays for six weeks with the sixth week hosting our Rec. Program Track and Field Meet. Begins Tuesday, April 10 from 7–8 p.m. All sessions will be held at the Bellevue High School stadium unless otherwise noted. Meet information will be announced at a later date. Register in person at the Bellevue Community Center or online. Avoid the $5 late fee, register by March 27.

START SMART TRACK 2018

The Start Smart Track program introduces young athletes, ages 3–5, to the basic skills of track and field with modified races and field events. The importance of stretching and warm up techniques will be taught. Our coaching staff will encourage motivation and sportsmanship. A parent must accompany child. Classes held on Tuesdays beginning April 10 from 6–6:45 p.m. for five weeks. Classes held at the Bellevue High School practice field unless otherwise noted. Members: $15, Non-Members: $25. Register in person at the Bellevue Community Center or online. Avoid the $5 late fee, register by March 27.

 


SOCCER 2018

The youth soccer program is a co-rec program that places emphasis on skill, sportsmanship and fun. Your soccer player, grades K–4, will have the chance to understand the basic theory of soccer in a fun learning atmosphere. Participation by all players is ensured. Everyone gets a chance to dribble, save and score in a real soccer game setting. This program will be held outside behind the Bellevue Community Center building, so dress appropriately. League begins Saturday, April 7 for five weeks. Second, third, and fourth grade meets at 10 a.m. Kids in grades K–1 meet from 11 a.m.–Noon. Members $15, Non-Members $25. Register in person at the Bellevue Community Center or online. Avoid the $5 late fee, register by March 24.

 


 J.C. RYUKYU KEMPO KARATE 2017

Students age seven and older, will learn the fundamentals of martial arts including blocking, and striking techniques, abduction prevention, training exercises, traditional Kata, sparring, board breaking, joint locks, karate history and more. Choose from Monday and/or Wednesday class. Classes held at the Bellevue Community Center . Youth Class meets 5–6 p.m. Adult class 6–7:30 p.m. Register in person at the Bellevue Community Center or online any time of the year! (Please note: Online, Karate is listed under Memberships.) No classes the month of July.

Monthly rates: one day per week $25, two days a week $40. 

 


GYMNASTICS 2018

Open to boys and girls three years and older. Instruction will involve pieces of men's and women's gymnastics equipment including: bars, beam, vault, floor, rings, and high bar. Classes meet one day a week with your choice of Mondays OR Wednesdays. Class size is limited, please register early. Gymnastics/Tumbling facility is located at the Bellevue City Activity Centre, 3000 Seneca Industrial Parkway located on US Hwy 20 (on the west side of town behind Perry’s Plantation). The gym entrance is located around the back (south side) of the building, last door. *Preschool: ages 3–5 years. *6+Beginner/Advanced: ages 6–8 years. *9+ beginner/Advanced: Ages 9–12 years. TUMBLING 2018

Open to boys and girls five years and older. Instruction will cover traditional floor moves performed in tumbling including, but not limited to,  flips, somersaults, tucks, handstands and handsprings. Due to the one-on-one instructional nature of this class, registration allows a maximum of 10 participants per class. Please register early. Class Fee: $35 per session
