Get Involved
Whether you want to earn school community service credit, complete a Scout project, build social connections, or just make a difference in your community, here at Bellevue Recreation and Parks are many opportunities for you to get involved. Giving back is one of the most commendable and liberated virtues that one can do. Remember, positive actions produce positive outcomes. Offering up your time, skills, or money is an act of kindness, for instance; program/community service volunteers, you could be a coach, day camp counselor, fundraiser, sponsor, donate cash, etc. We welcome all of you to join this amazing crew!  

Volunteers
It doesn’t make a difference if you’re 13 or 113 years-of-age, get involved in your community by joining the Bellevue
Recreation and Park’s volunteer programs. Volunteering is humbling, challenging and rewarding. Through serving as a volunteer, you can increase your leadership skills, share your knowledge with others and be challenged by a new experience. Our volunteers assist with a variety of fun and exciting events. We strongly encourage teenagers to get involved, as well. Teens can donate their time and expertise while earning valuable service hours needed to fulfill school credits, National Honor Society and college entrance credits. Bellevue Recreation and Parks is grateful for every one of our awesome volunteers!

Donate
We accept monetary donations toward our many Rec. Center programs and Park projects. Your support of the Bellevue Recreation and Parks Department goes toward the direct cost of a project and has a direct impact on park lands, playgrounds, programs, and facilities. In addition, all donations are also accepted and use toward prizes for tournaments, sports equipment, office equipment, and printing (fliers, tickets, posters, etc.). We work hard to keep our programs affordable for the family, kids and friends and to make the most of every dollar we receive. Your contributions are very much appreciated!

Community Service
Considering our Parks and Recreation establishment, we could not do what we do without you. The dedication and energy of community service volunteers enables us to take on improvement projects we would not otherwise have the time, nor people to achieve. Our volunteers team up with their neighbors, co-workers, church, school or community organization to organize service projects; They spend time outdoors to aid in caring for and improving our public park land and green spaces. Bellevue Recreation and Parks will work with you to design a project your team will enjoy. Come be a part of these new and growing projects!
